Dubai's largest public parking operator, Parkin, has rolled out updated parking tariffs for key areas across Zones W and WP.
The revised pricing, effective from April 4, 2025, targets high-traffic locations like Al Karama, Al Qusais, and Al Kifaf.
Parkin made the announcement via its official social media platforms, setting the stage for the first major adjustment to parking charges in several months.
New tariffs in Al Kifaf (Zone WP)
As part of the changes, Al Kifaf (Zone WP) will see premium parking rates applied during peak hours. Parking fees in this area will now stand at Dh6 per hour between 8AM to 10AM and 4PM to 8PM. During off-peak hours (10AM to 4PM and 8PM to 10PM), the rate drops to Dh4 per hour. This area, known for its proximity to key transport hubs, will maintain clear signage to inform drivers of the revised rates.
Flat rate in Al Karama, Al Qusais, and others
For areas like Al Karama (318W), Al Qusais First (32W), Madinat Dubai, and Al Melaheyah (321W), parking rates will remain at Dh4 per hour, with no distinction between peak and off-peak hours. This flat-rate pricing continues the trend of simplifying the parking system for motorists in less congested zones.
Peak and Off-Peak hour system
The introduction of peak and off-peak tariffs is part of Dubai’s ongoing effort to alleviate congestion and better manage urban parking. With paid parking operating from 8am to 10pm, the new system aims to balance demand across the city. As before, parking will remain free on Sundays and public holidays, making these adjustments relevant only during weekdays.
