Diriyah: The City of Earth
Known as The City of Earth, Diriyah serves as the ancestral home of the Al Saud family and the birthplace of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The development aims to host 50 million annual visitors, supported by diverse attractions such as the Royal Diriyah Opera House and the Diriyah Arena, a 20,000-seat venue.
The hotel boasts luxurious amenities, including a spa, an indoor pool, a fitness centre, and a 250-capacity ballroom. Culinary highlights include a signature restaurant serving traditional Najdi cuisine and a Mediterranean-inspired eatery by Michelin-starred chef Michael Mina.
Since its establishment in 2023, Diriyah Company has emerged as a dynamic mixed-use developer under Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). The project aligns with Vision 2030, aiming to transform Diriyah into a global cultural and lifestyle destination while adhering to the highest standards of design, preservation, and sustainability.
Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah Company, expressed pride in this milestone: “Bab Samhan exemplifies the seamless fusion of Najdi heritage with modern luxury, underscoring Diriyah’s evolution as a world-class cultural hub.”
Diriyah’s development prioritises pedestrian-friendly spaces, offering seamless access to cultural, retail, and entertainment venues. With its proximity to King Khalid International Airport and Riyadh, the project positions Diriyah as a strategic centre for tourism and business.
Bab Samhan’s opening is just the beginning. Diriyah Company plans to add over 6,500 hotel rooms across its portfolio, supporting Saudi Arabia’s vision of attracting millions of international visitors annually.
