DUBAI: Cricket fans are gearing up for the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium today (Sunday).

With over 25,000 spectators expected, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued a detailed travel advisory to ensure smooth access to the venue.

To ease congestion around Dubai Sports City, RTA encourages spectators to use public transport.

Metro & Shuttle services

Cricket fans can park their vehicles at Centrepoint, e&, or Jabal Ali Metro stations and take the Dubai Metro to Jumeirah Golf Estates Station. From there, free shuttle buses will run to the stadium from 10 am onwards.

Bus Services

F34 Bus: Departs from Dubai Internet City Bus Station, takes approximately 20 minutes, with a 7-minute walk to the stadium. Buses run every 19-33 minutes.

F37 Bus: Available Sunday to Friday, departing from Mall of the Emirates Bus Station. The ride takes 35 minutes to Arena Tower Stop, followed by a 20-minute walk to the stadium. Buses operate every 20-30 minutes.

Parking & driving tips

While public transport is recommended, those driving to the stadium should plan ahead.

Parking availability:

  • Royal Parking: 130 spots reserved for premium ticket holders and special access.
  • VIP (Grand Lounge) Parking: 250 spots near the stadium entrance for VIP guests.
  • General Parking: 250 spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Driving guidelines:

  • Use navigation apps to find alternative routes and avoid congestion.
  • Follow traffic updates for real-time road conditions.
  • Be aware of parking fees and regulations before arriving.

Arrival & stadium facilities

Spectators are advised to arrive early to avoid last-minute rush and enjoy pre-match activities, food stalls, and entertainment zones around the venue.

Nearby Facilities: Dubai Sports City offers restaurants, cafes, and leisure activities, making it a great spot for fans to gather before the match.

Weather Precautions: Dubai’s weather can be hot and humid, so attendees should stay hydrated, wear breathable clothing, and apply sunscreen for protection.

Security & entry guidelines

The stadium has heightened security measures in place, requiring spectators to carry valid tickets and government-issued identification.

Champions Trophy 2025

The Champions Trophy 2025 runs from February 19 to March 9, featuring eight teams divided into two groups. The top two from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.

Due to political considerations, if India reaches the final, originally scheduled for Lahore, it will be relocated to Dubai.
