Dubai opens new unfenced family park in Al Aweer II

Dubai Municipality has inaugurated a sprawling 10,500-square-metre family park in Al Aweer II, offering a unique rural-inspired design.
This addition forms part of the city's ambitious vision to enhance public parks and family-friendly recreational spaces.
The park caters to residents' diverse needs, contributing to improved well-being and an active lifestyle.
Design inspired by nature
The park draws inspiration from the serene natural environment of Al Aweer II, reflecting Dubai’s geographical and ecological identity.
It features local environmental trees such as Ghaf, Al Shuraish, Plumeria (Indian jasmine), Vikes, and Albizia, enhancing its charm. These native and exotic plants enrich the park's aesthetic appeal while promoting sustainability.
Recreation for all ages
Designed to accommodate families and individuals alike, the park offers children’s play areas, jogging tracks, and fitness zones. Residents can enjoy a balance of leisure and activity in a welcoming, open-air environment.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, stated: “Public parks and family spaces remain a cornerstone of our initiatives.
