Adorned with radiant Ramadan-themed decorations, the park invites visitors to experience the essence of togetherness and festivity.
As part of the emirate-wide #RamadanInDubai campaign and aligned with the Year of Community, Global Village introduces a host of new experiences for guests of all ages.
Extended hours for Ramadan Nights
During the holy month, Global Village extends its operating hours to enhance the guest experience. Visitors can explore the park from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM (Sunday to Wednesday) and 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM (Thursday to Saturday), offering ample time to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere and unique attractions.
Multaqa Global Village
One of the most exciting additions this season is Multaqa Global Village, a dedicated seating area where visitors can gather, relax, and enjoy the Ramadan ambiance. Designed as an open-air majlis-style space, Multaqa features cosy cushions, low tables, and festoon lighting, creating an inviting setting for shared moments with family and friends.
Located between the Main Stage and Dragon Lake, Multaqa Global Village allows guests to bring their iftar, suhoor, or in-between snacks from over 250 dining outlets within the park. Additionally, nearby food carts offer traditional treats like Arabic coffee, Ramadan beverages, and savoury bites. The area also features a selection of Ramadan-themed products, ensuring visitors can take home a special keepsake.
Ramadan Cannon to mark Iftar
A unique cultural highlight, the Ramadan Cannon will be placed near the Main Stage and fired at sunset daily to signal the breaking of the fast.
This traditional practice, deeply rooted in Ramadan heritage, is a must-see for visitors looking to embrace the spirit of the holy month.
Live entertainment
Live entertainment takes centre stage at Global Village, with the return of the Arabesque Orchestra by Ornina Arts Events. A 35-member ensemble will captivate audiences with soulful renditions of traditional melodies. Additionally, performances featuring Oud, Nay, Harp, Violin, and the mesmerising Tannoura show will enhance the Ramadan experience.
Kids’ Theatre show
Families visiting Global Village can enjoy The Secret of the Lantern, a delightful puppet show at the Kids’ Theatre. This heartwarming performance highlights the values of kindness, generosity, and compassion, beautifully incorporating the symbolic Fanous lantern.

Ramadan Step Challenge
Encouraging guests to stay active, Global Village introduces the Ramadan Step Challenge. Participants can track their steps through the Global Village mobile app and aim to complete 10,000 steps in a single visit.
