UAE & GCC airlines offering most affordable travel deals

Dubai: With the summer season drawing to a close, airlines and travel agencies in UAE and across the GCC are launching enticing post-summer sales to keep wanderlust alive.
Here's a breakdown of some exciting offers:
SalamAir
Oman's budget carrier, SalamAir, is leading the charge with a new strategy focused on delivering consistently low fares. Starting July 24th to 31st, travelers can book discounted tickets for travel between September 16th and December 15th.
Fares start from just 19 Omani Riyals (approximately Dh180) for flights between Muscat and Salalah. This "Light Fare" option includes 7kg of hand luggage, with passengers able to add additional baggage and other services as needed.
Etihad Airways
The UAE's national carrier, Etihad Airways, isn't missing out on the action. They've launched a week-long promotion offering discounted fares to popular destinations like Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Greece, India, and the UK.
Valid for travel between September and November, these deals are only available for online bookings directly through Etihad.
Travelers can expect to find economy fares to the Maldives for Dh850 (return), Jordan for Dh750 (return), and India for Dh1,130 (return).
Air Arabia
Sharjah-based Air Arabia is also running a "Big sale on small fares" promotion, with starting fares as low as Dh169 (including all surcharges, excluding airport taxes).
This budget-friendly option offers one-way tickets to destinations like Delhi, Jaipur, Kochi, and Kozhikode in India for just Dh169. Additionally, travelers can snag one-way fares to Tbilisi for Dh249 and Moscow for Dh349.
Emirates Airline:
Dubai's Emirates airline is sweetening the deal for passengers with a "Fly now, pay down the line" offer. Travelers can spread the cost of their trip over three months with interest-free installments using select credit cards from UAE banks. This offer is valid until January 31st, 2025.
Travel agencies join the fray:
Travel agencies within the UAE are also offering attractive all-inclusive packages to various holiday destinations. Prices can start as low as Dh2,099, catering to travelers seeking budget-friendly options with good value for money.
Mahesh Babu, COO of Musafir.com, an online travel agency, notes that "the preference for longer vacations with itineraries spanning at least 15 days remains strong among UAE travelers in August."
