DUBAI: The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has announced the temporary closure of its main Customer Happiness Centre in Al Jafiliya, following the Eid Al Fitr 2025 holidays.

The closure is part of planned maintenance and development works aimed at enhancing the service environment and operational efficiency.

Alternative location

To ensure a smooth transition, GDRFA Dubai has set up an alternative service centre behind Max Metro Station. Customers will be able to access all residency, visa, and related services at this temporary location, maintaining the same efficiency and service standards.

Smart services available

In addition to in-person services, customers are encouraged to utilise GDRFA Dubai’s smart applications, which operate 24/7, allowing residents and visitors to complete transactions seamlessly. The authority has also advised individuals to contact the “Amer” Call Centre via the toll-free number 8005111 or visit the official website, www.gdrfad.gov.ae, for assistance and inquiries.

GDRFA Dubai reaffirmed its commitment to providing uninterrupted and high-quality services throughout the maintenance period. The relocation ensures that public convenience remains a priority while the Al Jafiliya centre undergoes enhancements. Further updates on reopening timelines will be communicated through official channels.
