Dubai: Private jet traffic at Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) is set to skyrocket, with 18,000 flights projected by the end of 2024. Business aviation in Dubai South saw a 7% increase in the first half of 2024, with 8,472 private jet movements recorded, cementing Al Maktoum International Airport as the leading business aviation hub in the Middle East.
This surge follows a record-breaking 16,657 private jet movements in 2023, with demand for private air travel continuing to climb.

“We expect even higher growth with new aircraft hangars and maintenance facilities coming to Dubai South,” said Khalifa Al Zaffin, executive chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation as quoted by Economy Middle East. The MEBAA Show, the region’s top business aviation event, will also be held in December 2024, further boosting demand.
