Air Arabia, the largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, has marked an exciting new chapter with the launch of its non-stop service between Ras Al Khaimah International Airport (RAK) and Moscow’s Domodedovo International Airport (DME).
Friday’s inaugural flight introduces a direct connection between the UAE and Russia, operating three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
This new route is expected to play a key role in strengthening tourism and trade links between the two nations.
From RAK to Moscow
The launch event at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport was attended by officials from Air Arabia, Ras Al Khaimah International Airport Authority, and other distinguished guests, marking the airline’s growing presence in the region.
Air Arabia’s Group CEO, Adel Al Ali, expressed enthusiasm about the new venture, noting that the service would provide passengers with affordable travel options while reinforcing the airline’s commitment to expanding its network.
Connecting UAE and Russia
The new flight duration is approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes, providing a quick and convenient way for passengers to travel between Ras Al Khaimah and Moscow. The airline’s modern fleet, consisting of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, ensures that passengers enjoy a comfortable experience throughout their journey.
Passengers will also benefit from Air Arabia’s in-flight services, including 'SkyTime' for free streaming and 'SkyCafe', offering affordable catering options.

This new route is part of Air Arabia’s broader strategy to expand its connectivity from Ras Al Khaimah, which already includes direct flights to major cities like Cairo, Islamabad, and Lahore. The airline continues to push the boundaries of low-cost air travel by offering innovative services such as the 'Air Rewards' loyalty program, which enables passengers to earn and spend points across the airline’s extensive network.
