Emirates in Morocco
For over 20 years, Emirates has played a pivotal role in Morocco’s aviation, tourism, and trade sectors. Since its inaugural flight to Casablanca in 2002, the airline has carried over 3.65 million passengers on this route.
In 2022, Emirates deepened its relationship with Royal Air Maroc through a codeshare partnership, providing seamless access to 18 Moroccan cities, including Marrakech, Agadir, and Tangier. Over 28,600 passengers utilised this partnership in the past year.
Additionally, Emirates has supported local employment, with more than 860 Moroccan nationals serving as cabin crew. These professionals bring Morocco’s renowned hospitality to Emirates’ global clientele.
Travel in Africa
The Casablanca store is part of Emirates’ broader strategy to innovate travel retail. Following the launch of its first African Emirates World store, this initiative underscores the airline’s ‘Fly Better’ promise, combining advanced technology with a personalised touch to inspire customers.
Kazim concluded: “Emirates World is more than a retail space—it’s a gateway for customers to experience our brand, enabling them to discover new destinations and create unforgettable journeys."
