Dubai: As the sweltering summer heat in the UAE gives way to the cooler temperatures of autumn, several major attractions are preparing to welcome back visitors.
These destinations, popular among both locals and tourists, offer a mix of shopping, dining, and unique experiences in nature, making them ideal spots for family outings and social gatherings.
Here are some of the major attractions that are set to reopen soon.
Dubai Miracle Garden is kicking off its 13th season on September 28, 2024. With flowers back in bloom, the garden will offer a reduced entry fee for UAE residents—now Dh60 for adults and children—while prices for tourists have risen slightly to Dh100 for adults and Dh85 for children.
The garden will operate daily, providing a vibrant escape in the heart of Dubailand.
Global Village is set to open its doors on October 16, 2024, for its 29th season, promising new upgrades and VIP packages.
Known for its multicultural ambiance and entertainment, this destination will run until May 11, 2025, ensuring plenty of time for visitors to enjoy its offerings.
Dubai Safari is also set to resume operations on October 1, showcasing a diverse range of over 3,000 animals. After undergoing significant upgrades during its summer closure, the park aims to enhance the visitor experience with new attractions, details of which will be revealed soon.
Sharjah Safari opened its fourth season on September 23, featuring over 300 new animals born this year. The park promises an exciting adventure with unique events designed to educate and engage visitors with wildlife and conservation efforts.
Ripe Market will reopen its popular weekend markets, starting with Academy Park on October 12, 2024. Known for its local food, clothing, and crafts, Ripe Market will be a vibrant gathering space until May 2025.
Ongoing entertainment
In addition to the upcoming attractions, several spots have already resumed operations as temperatures have begun to cool.
Glow Garden, which reopened on September 11, celebrates its 10th season with stunning displays of light.
Jais Flight, the world's longest zip-line in Ras Al Khaimah, is ready for thrill-seekers, with ticket prices starting at Dh299 for those eager to experience the adrenaline rush of soaring through the mountains.
With these attractions reopening, the UAE is set to become a hotspot for fun and adventure, offering both residents and tourists exciting opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors as the weather becomes more inviting.
