The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is ready to dazzle the world as it ushers in 2025 with one of its most anticipated New Year’s Eve celebrations, marked by breathtaking fireworks, cutting-edge drone shows, and spectacular displays across all emirates.

From Abu Dhabi’s world-record-setting fireworks to Dubai’s expansive pyrotechnic showcases, each emirate is bringing something unique to the table for both residents and tourists.

As the clock strikes midnight, the UAE will offer a truly extraordinary New Year’s Eve, showcasing its commitment to providing world-class entertainment and an unforgettable experience for all.

Abu Dhabi

In Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Zayed Festival at Al Wathba is set to create a historical spectacle with a 53-minute continuous fireworks show. The event aims to break the record for the longest, most varied, and largest fireworks display in the world.

Preceding the fireworks, a stunning 20-minute drone show, featuring 6,000 drones, will take to the skies at 23:40. This mesmerising light display will feature artistic formations and even a world-first image created by 3,000 drones.

The show will also feature a special segment symbolising New Year’s aspirations, capturing the essence of hope and unity.

Other locations across the emirate, including the Corniche, Yas Island, and Al Hudayriyat Island, will also host fireworks shows, offering the perfect vantage points for anyone looking to witness this New Year’s Eve magic.

Dubai

Dubai is gearing up to make New Year’s Eve unforgettable with over 45 firework displays across 36 prime locations. The displays will light up the skyline at some of the city's most iconic spots, including Burj Khalifa, Expo City, Global Village, Dubai Frame, and Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

With top-tier safety measures in place, the event promises to be both a visual and safe spectacle for visitors from all around the globe.

Dubai’s New Year celebration is known for its grandeur, and this year, the city is raising the bar, ensuring that the celebrations are both captivating and accessible to all.

Sharjah

Sharjah is ready to captivate visitors with its carefully curated New Year’s Eve celebrations, presented by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq). Three strategic locations – Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Heera Beach, and Khorfakkan Beach – will host a series of fireworks displays that promise something for everyone. With a total of 25 minutes of fireworks across the three sites, each location offers a unique experience, featuring activities for families, live entertainment, and more.

Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah will aim to set new Guinness World Records with a grand 15-minute fireworks and drone display, themed "Our Story in the Sky." The show will celebrate the emirate’s natural beauty and cultural heritage through three distinct segments, culminating in an awe-inspiring midnight display. Last year, Ras Al Khaimah set two records, and the emirate is determined to top that achievement this year with even more spectacular innovations in pyrotechnics and drone technology.
