Emirates unveils its largest overseas lounge in Bangkok
Premium travellers enjoy upgraded space, Thai delicacies, and luxury amenities
DUBAI: Emirates has unveiled its newly relocated and expanded premium lounge at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, situated in the brand-new Satellite 1 Terminal (SAT-1).
This marks the airline’s most extensive international lounge, second only to its home base in Dubai.
The $5 million refurbishment has transformed the space into a 1,454-square-metre sanctuary, capable of hosting up to 250 premium travellers at a time.
Designed to cater to Emirates’ six daily flights from Bangkok, the lounge offers an exclusive experience for First and Business Class passengers, along with eligible Skywards members.
New luxury lounge
Travellers can unwind in plush seating areas, indulge in gourmet cuisine featuring local and international dishes, or refresh themselves in luxurious shower spas. The lounge also provides complimentary Wi-Fi, elegant dining spaces, and a selection of classic Thai desserts.
Strategically positioned on the fourth floor of SAT-1, the lounge is just a five-minute walk from the boarding gates, ensuring seamless access for departing passengers.
Emirates in Thailand
Emirates has been strengthening its presence in Thailand since its debut 35 years ago. The airline currently operates five daily flights between Dubai and Bangkok, using both Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s, alongside double-daily services to Phuket and a direct Bangkok-Hong Kong route.
With over 870 First and Business Class seats available daily on Bangkok routes, Emirates leads the market in premium travel. The airline’s commitment to luxury experiences extends from its award-winning in-flight service to its on-ground facilities, including this latest lounge expansion.
Seamless premium travel
Beyond the lounge, Emirates enhances its premium travel experience with Chauffeur-drive services covering a 60-km radius from Suvarnabhumi Airport. Onboard, First Class passengers enjoy private suites, an exclusive A380 Onboard Lounge, and a state-of-the-art Shower Spa.
The airline continues to redefine luxury air travel, with its Bangkok expansion reinforcing its stronghold as a top choice for premium travellers in Southeast Asia.
