Superyacht builder Heesen sets sail for a record 2025
11 yachts under construction and five deliveries scheduled amid strong growth
DUBAI: Dutch superyacht builder Heesen Yachts is starting 2025 with 11 yachts under construction and five scheduled deliveries, marking another milestone for the shipyard.
Among the anticipated launches this year are the 55m Solemates, 55m Serena, 50m Orion, 55m Agnetha, and 55m Frida.
Despite global uncertainties, Heesen continues its upward trajectory, having recorded a record-breaking revenue in 2024, bolstered by the sale of three yachts.
New CCO to drive industry impact
A new chapter for Heesen begins with the appointment of Ruud van der Stroom as Chief Commercial Officer in September 2024. With a deep-rooted passion for the yachting industry, Ruud aims to solidify Heesen’s position as a world-leading shipyard. “This transition marks a significant milestone in my career. I am thrilled to be part of Heesen’s strong brand and dedicated team,” he said.
