SHARJAH: The Expo Al Dhaid has launched its largest-ever Adventure and Camping Exhibition, which kicked off yesterday with a record-breaking 60 exhibitors—a remarkable 50 per cent increase from last year.
The exhibition, which will run until November 3, 2024, has drawn outdoor and adventure enthusiasts to discover more than 10,000 of the latest products and equipment, spanning a sprawling 2,800 square metres.
The event was inaugurated by Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in Sharjah, with the esteemed presence of Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Expo Centre Sharjah.
Dignitaries in attendance also included Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, Second Vice Chairman of SCCI, and other key officials who toured the impressive exhibition stands to experience this year’s product showcase.

Organised with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and under the guidance of Expo Centre Sharjah, this sixth edition of the Adventure and Camping Exhibition has firmly established itself as a central platform in the UAE for camping and outdoor enthusiasts.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdallah Sultan Al Owais emphasised the exhibition’s vital role in bolstering Sharjah’s tourism sector and strengthening its position as a key destination for adventure tourism.
“The Adventure and Camping Exhibition has cemented its position as one of the most important events hosted by Expo Al Dhaid. It has evolved into a leading specialised exhibition for camping and outdoor activities in the UAE and the region,” he remarked.
